Armin Van Buuren, deadmau5 And Knife Party Will Play The Guvernment Finale

Almost everyone in Toronto is familiar with The Guvernment, the massive nightclub that's been around for nearly 20 years and has played host to almost every notable dance music artist in existence. It's become something of a landmark in the city, with a loyal following that fills the venue for each and every show, turning "The Guv" into a monumental club that is full of history.

Almost everyone in Toronto is familiar with The Guvernment, the massive nightclub that’s been around for nearly 20 years and has played host to almost every notable dance music artist in existence. It’s become something of a landmark in the city, with a loyal following that fills the venue for each and every show, turning “The Guv” into a monumental club that is full of history and memorable moments.

Unfortunately, the club will be shutting down in early 2015, but it looks as if they intend on going out with a bang. INK Entertainment, who promotes and markets The Guvernment, has announced that the final three shows will be on January 23rd, 24th and 25th, and they’ve assembled one hell of a line up to close things off.

On the 23rd, Armin will take the stage, followed by Knife Party on the 24th and hometown hero deadmau5 on the 25th. As someone who’s been to The Guvernment numerous times, and am disappointed that it’ll be closing, I have to say that at least they’re going out in style. That’s an awfully impressive line-up, and that they were able to get deadmau5 to play the final show ever is absolutely huge, given his history with both the club and the crowd that attends.

Tickets haven’t gone on sale just yet for The Guvernment’s final weekend, but keep your eye on INK’s official website as they’ll be up shortly and are guaranteed to sell out quickly.
