It looks as though Audien has got another EP coming down the pipeline, and he couldn’t wait to give his fans a taste of what’s in store. The Mystic, Connecticut-based producer has revealed the forthcoming release of DAYDREAMS, sharing a sound bite from one of its tracks in the process.
A powerful instrumental track with a captivating synth lead, “Rooms” certainly isn’t background music. A piece of euphoric trance bliss whose hoover synth stacks trumpet out from the pluck melodies at its foundation, this is a number made to move audiences of thousands.
“Those that have heard my earlier work will understand why this is one of my favorites off of my new EP,” Audien wrote in a blurb accompanying the SoundCloud upload.
Indeed, “Rooms” hails back to his earlier material – but perhaps not in the way he intended. A handful of fans have complained that the track’s synth work and production elements bear a striking similarity to one of his more celebrated 2012 Anjunabeats releases.
