A paramedic in Baltimore County has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after he recorded himself masturbating and urinating into his co-worker’s food and drinks. Christopher M. Carroll was handed his sentence on Tuesday after pleading guilty to three counts of causing another to unknowingly ingest his bodily fluids.
Carroll, 36, had worked at a county fire station and the fire department headquarters and was arrested back in February after multiple allegations against him, according to the Baltimore Banner (via CBS News). He was charged with 20 counts of knowingly and wilfully causing another to ingest bodily fluid, as well as three counts of malicious destruction of property.
Carroll had been spreading his bodily fluids in places he shouldn’t; he also filmed the criminal acts and his videos, along with surveillance footage, gave police everything they needed to arrest him. The state wanted to hand Carroll a 30-year sentence, but he was ultimately given 25 years.
The investigation into Carroll started last year
Authorities initially began investigating Carroll in November 2025 after allegations against the paramedic were reported between September and December of that year. He was accused of masturbating and urinating on work equipment as well as property belonging to his co-workers at Baltimore County Fire Station 2. However, he didn’t stop there.
According to court records, Carroll was also accused of spreading his own semen around the workplace. He put his bodily fluids in the communal coffee creamer and across his female supervisor’s computer keyboard. He was also accused of urinating in the ice machine. Following the allegations, Carroll was suspended from the Baltimore County Fire Department.
The prosecution also alleged that Carroll put his bodily fluids inside an ambulance and even in the food belonging to his co-workers. Carroll had reportedly filmed himself committing the acts and posted them to online porn sites for others to watch.
In a court hearing from earlier this year, prosecutors also made the disturbing claim that the actions committed by Christopher M. Carroll were not isolated to Fire Station 2. Apparently, he had also been spreading his bodily fluids outside of work, and there could be many more victims.
One instance that took place outside of his work occurred in a doctor’s office where Carroll filmed himself urinating into a wall fragrance before plugging it back in. There was also an incident where Carroll’s two children were in view.
Carroll addressed the court during his appearance on Tuesday where he apologized for his actions. Through tears, the former paramedic claimed that he was “truly sorry to everyone involved.”
