Batman: Arkham City is just around the corner. Well, around the weekend if you will. That thought surely has you as excited as it has us.

To celebrate the launch of this incredibly popular sequel to gaming’s best superhero outing, Warner Bros. has released a stylish new launch trailer. Within, you can expect to find some dark and foreboding tones, alongside visceral gameplay action. All of it is wrapped up with a beautiful bow of great presentation, as the Caped Crusader is mocked with the use of his past and foreshadowing of events to come.

It looks amazing, which actually feels like an understated word in this case.

Batman: Arkham City will be available next Tuesday, October 18 in North America, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. European Bat-fans will have to wait until the 21st.

As you probably already know, the PC version of the game has been delayed into November.
