Nintendo looks to make good on its promise of bringing triple A titles to its Wii U, which was made apparent by a quick reel that was played during its E3 press conference. Showing off some of the big name third-party releases headed to the upcoming console, it featured:

Mass Effect 3
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge
Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition
Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Tank! Tank! Tank!
Trine 2: Director’s Cut
Aliens: Colonial Marines
Assassin’s Creed III
Darksiders II

Other known third-party Wii U titles include:

Rayman: Legends
ZombiU
Just Dance 4
Scribblenauts Unlimited

Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition is a release which certainly needs to be highlighted, as it’s not a simple port of the best superhero game ever made. In fact, the Wii U version has seen the addition of quite a few exclusive features, including motion support for batarang steering. On top of that, users will also be able to use the system’s GamePad to activate sonar, hack encrypted keypads, cycle through their inventory, upgrade Batman and select their loadouts.

New armor-enhanced suits for both Batman and Catwoman are also being added into Nintendo‘s version of the game, enabling a new attack type. Both suits store kinetic energy, which can then be expelled during combat.

Note: The BioWare Twitter feed was updated while the reel played, detailing the fact that Mass Effect 3 will be a launch title for the device.
