Before we dive into our featured review, though, Jon and Will talk a whole bunch of movie news, starting with the insane Incredibles 2 box office numbers taking pundits by storm, plus how lackluster numbers for Solo: A Star Wars Story have reportedly led to Disney and Lucasfilm putting other standalone Star Wars spinoffs on hold for now. We also try to unpack the insanity behind the Gotti marketing campaign, which is pitting film critics, audiences, MoviePass and Rotten Tomatoes against each other in one of the weirdest public opinion fights we’ve seen in quite a while.

After we review Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Jon and Will jump into Mini Reviews. First, there’s the brand new season of Luke Cage on Netflix to get into, which Jon has already seen and reviewed. Will finally checked out Thoroughbreds as well, and Jon shares the details on a new Netflix romantic comedy that’s actually pretty charming – Set It Up.
