Well, this is exciting. We finally have some details on the upcoming album from Joel Zimmerman, or deadmau5 as he’s better known. Titled 5 Years of Mau5, the release will span two discs, with disc one offering up the classics and disc two delivering the remixes. It’s an exciting collection of tracks, to be sure, and as a fan of the Canadian DJ, I’m definitely looking forward to it, even if there isn’t any new music here.
As you can see from the photo above, prominent artists like Dillon Francis, Madeon, Chuckie and more will be on remix duty. Again, like disc one, we’ve heard all of these songs before, with many of them having made their way onto the internet in recent weeks. Still, they’ve all been pretty impressive and what’s included on this upcoming album will definitely bring a smile to those who count themselves as loyal mau5 followers.
