The release date for deadmau5‘s eighth studio album, W:/2017Album is nearly upon us, and the Canadian producer is gearing up for the new work by dropping a fresh teaser for his Grabbitz collaboration, originally known as “Blood For The Bloodgoat.” The song first surfaced last year on SoundCloud, and now deadmau5 is showing off a sample of the completed version, titled “Let Go.”

The 30 second teaser video details the mastered cut of “Let Go,” showing off the captivating melodies and spiralling synth arpeggios as Grabbitz’ voice spins the song’s narrative. The video itself recalls those old DVD screensavers, albeit decked out in mau5 form, and the whole thing should have fans pumped up for the finished version of “Let Go” to surface.

The track was definitely an instant classic for deadmau5 when it first hit the internet for streaming, and fans will be excited to have the completed song soon enough. It’s believed that the Grabbitz collab will serve as the second single for W:/2016Album, following “4Ware” from earlier in the month.

The new full-length effort arrives on December 2nd, but if you can’t wait until then, you can go listen to the leaked album in its entirety.
