2016 may have proven the electronic music landscape rockier than entertainment moguls had realized, but Billboard hasn’t written it off as a bygone era quite yet. The publication has released its 3rd annual power list of DJs and executives, declaring the likes of deadmau5, Jono Grant, Neil Moffitt and Russell Faibisch to be among its most influential figures.

The list is divided between the headings “Artists,” “Live,” “Gatekeepers” and “Managers,” with Diplo, Pasquale Rotella, Julie Adunega/Zane Lowe and Adam Alpert at the top of each respective category. Strangely, Billboard included all but Rotella for their influence in the realm of music releases – even though the electronic music is largely a live music-driven industry.

That being said, Billboard‘s 3rd annual power list features dozens of artists and industry figures whose contributions cover a wide range. To see the list in its entirety click here, and be sure to let us know what you think by commenting below.
