Donald Trump unveils plan to block citizenship for migrants who did a crime, or just aren’t American enough to deserve it

Loyalty to Trump, not America.

In a significant policy shift, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services is enacting new guidelines aimed at preventing unauthorized migrants who have engaged in voter fraud from obtaining citizenship. The updated policy manual will now specifically bar any illegal migrant who has voted in an election or attempted to register to vote from gaining United States citizenship.

Under the new directives, any illegal migrant found to have committed a form of voter fraud will not only be denied citizenship but will also be placed in deportation proceedings. The policy also applies to individuals who have falsely claimed to be a United States citizen for any purpose, such as applying for a passport or a driver’s license. Keep in mind, you cannot get a driver’s license in many states without claiming to be a citizen.

According to Fox, the new rules are set to take effect this Friday, with an internal guidance memo being distributed to all United States Citizenship and Immigration Services employees. This memo outlines the steps for implementing the updated policy, making it clear that illegal migrants who fail to meet the good moral character requirements for citizenship will be issued a Notice to Appear and be referred for criminal prosecution. This action signals a more aggressive approach to immigration enforcement, particularly targeting those who have violated voting laws.

Immigration is going hard on voter fraud

The changes are a direct result of a March executive order signed by President Trump, titled “Preserving And Protecting the Integrity of American Elections.” This order directed the Department of Homeland Security to establish systems for verifying the citizenship and immigration status of individuals who register or are already registered to vote.

USCIS spokesperson Matthew Tragesser said, “Illegal voting undermines the will of the American people and threatens the legitimacy of our elections. Under the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Noem, we are making changes to prevent and punish aliens who voted illegally in our elections from gaining U.S. citizenship. Aliens who facilitate or perpetuate illegal voting face swift and severe consequences.”

Although the executive order faced several legal challenges, with two federal judges blocking certain provisions. The new citizenship guidelines will continue to help the administration’s ongoing efforts to deport migrants. Luckily, this doesn’t affect those with birthright citizenship yet, but maybe his reality show will give them citizenship.

A recent report from the Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary indicates that the agency has arrested and removed hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants from the country. This latest policy update is expected to increase the number of deportations, as it provides another clear pathway for initiating removal proceedings against individuals who have violated the country’s laws.
