Dwayne Johnson’s football league may have lost a fortune, but at least his tequila business is booming

You can't win 'em all, even if you're The Rock.

You can’t win ’em all, even if you’re one of the most famous faces in all of entertainment, but Dwayne Johnson has been racking up more losses than usual recently.

The cancellation of Young Rock after three seasons marked the latest high-profile setback for the A-list superstar, which came hot on the heels of his dual-pronged assault on DC with League of Super-Pets and Black Adam yielding nothing but failure, before an embarrassing comedown saw him go back on his widely-publicized promise and return to the world of Fast & Furious.

That’s without even mentioning his relaunched XFL, with The Rock attempting to succeed where his former WWE boss Vince McMahon had failed twice over by turning the NFL alternative into a viable entity. While it did get further than the previous iterations by completing its first season, a reported $60 million loss hints that profitability is a long way away.

It isn’t all doom and gloom for the self-proclaimed “hardest worker in the room,” though, with Johnson making a point of touring his Teremana tequila brand’s massive success.

Not only that, but the actor and producer then revealed – via drone shots, for some reason – that a brand new distillery is underway.

Thanks to the ongoing popularity of Teremana, we can at least rest easy in the knowledge that should any of the former professional wrestler’s ventures both on or off camera fall flat on their faces, he’ll have an endless supply of liquor with which to drown his sorrows in the event of the worst case scenario.
