Today during Sony’s keynote at the annual GameStop Managers Show in San Antonio Texas, the company pretended that nobody knew about the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale beta leak, and announced for the “first time” that Evil Cole MacGrath from the inFAMOUS franchise will be in their upcoming Smash Bros. style fighter.

Much like Good Cole, who is also in PlayStation All-Stars, Evil Cole’s abilities come from inFAMOUS 2. This means that his powers will combine fire and electricity, and he can use attacks such as the Hellfire Rocket, Tripwire Rocket, and Firebird Strike. Additionally, he can use the Ionic Drain to… drain AP from other players, giving him a headstart in the battle, and use The Beast powers once he reaches the maximum level.

In both inFAMOUS games I preferred playing as Good Cole, but after seeing Evil Cole in action in the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale trailer below, I’m leaning towards using the not-so-nice side of Mr. MacGrath. I mean, who in their right mind would pass up the chance to use The Beast powers in a fighter?

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale launches on November 20, 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and the Vita.
