Flume fans have been waiting months for the Australian DJ/producer to release the Skin LP, and he seems to have been making the anticipation work in his favor. With every new track release, he garners the attention of thousands upon thousands of music lovers across the world – and his debut of “Say It” featuring Tove Lo is no exception.
A serene piece of downtempo/future bass with the soul of an R&B song, “Say It” stands among the more radio-friendly tracks of the Skin LP. Flume creatively incorporates light sound effects throughout its arrangement in such a way that engages the listener without coming across as forced.
