Forza Motorsport 4 Debuts Hockenheim Track At Gamescom

Racing fans have been looking forward to starting their engines when Forza Motorsport 4 hits the track this October. Now, they can prepare to do so on a new track based on a well-known real-life race circuit: Hockenheim.

The asphalt track was unveiled at Gamescom today, with Turn 10 choosing to give fans a very in-depth look at its transition from real-life to virtual space. In a video which we’ve included below, you can take a look at the track and what went into its creation. There’s some great footage from the team’s research trip, showing how they captured footage that was then converted digitally.

If this doesn’t make you want to get out on that cyber-track even more, then I don’t know what will.
