Governors Ball happened last weekend, and judging by the recap video, it proved to be one of the best festivals of the year. For its 2015 outing, the event boasted a heavy electronic lineup compared to previous iterations, sporting the likes of Getter, Hot Chip, SBTRKT and plenty more. Despite technical difficulties with Deadmau5′ new stage, the 5th edition of the NYC music festival was a massive success.
The official aftermovie wonderfully captures the East coast vibe, and showcases the rising popularity of Governors Ball. Tuned to Flume’s “Insane,” there’s no shortage of water spewing, dust clouds, or sequin slaps in this stylish slow-motion feast. Overall, I’m pretty hurt over not attending and I definitely don’t plan on missing next year.
