Halsey Teases Collaboration With The Chainsmokers On Instagram

We’ve had a feeling that The Chainsmokers had another trick up their sleeve, and Halsey confirmed it. The vocalist (and serial EDM collaborator) has shared a preview of the upcoming release sure to elicit excitement from both camps’ fanbases.

Two weeks ago, the “Colors” singer took to Instagram to reveal that a track the three artists debuted together at Bonnaroo was, in fact, their new collaboration.

You heard it tonight. My phone hasn’t had service in 2 days, bonnaroo but I’m pullin enough juice to inform you that @thechainsmokers and I have a BRAND NEW SONG coming out soon. Those of you who got to witness it tonight, lucky you. ???

The brief teaser video showcases Halsey’s impressive vocal chops – as well as the fact that she actually looks pretty decent without any makeup on. As far as the track itself is concerned, in a televised performance The Chainsmokers revealed that it would be out sometime next month.

The Chainsmokers and Halsey still have yet to announce a title or exact release date for their collaboration (though it’s rumored to be called “Closer”), but will surely do so soon enough.
