Couple quick casting bits coming out of HBO tonight. Deadline tells us that True Blood, Hung and Entourage have all picked up actors for recurring roles on the upcoming seasons.
Alice Eve (She’s Out Of My League) will be joining Entourage. The blonde beauty will play “a journalist assigned to write a profile piece on Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) who subsequently becomes a possible love interest for the actor”.
Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), will be joining Hung as “a woman with serious anger issues who becomes a client of part-time male prostitute Ray (Thomas Jane)”.  And finally, Peter Macdissi will be joining the cast of True Blood as Luis Patiño, a vampire sheriff with a troubled past.
I don’t watch Hung and I don’t keep up with True Blood on a regular basis, but I do love Entourage. Eve joining the cast is great news as not only is she a fine actress, but she’s also more than easy on the eyes. Plus, she’s one more star to look forward to in a season that already includes guest spots from people like Christian Slater, Alex Rodriguez, Johnny Galecki, Mark Teixeria of the New York Yankees, as well as NBA players Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire. Looks like it’s going to be a fun season for Vinnie and the boys!
