'Hot Wheels' is sure to be your must-watch reality tv show this summer.

In addition to watching die-hard Hot Wheels fans build their dream cars, audiences also get a look at some incredible celebrity judges and hear heartwarming stories about how childhoods inspired these larger-than-life builds and repurposing of vehicles. So it comes as no surprise that after the premiere episode, the series has ranked high among viewers who were captivated by the show.

Deadline shared that the one-of-a-kind reality series earned 4.8M views across all viewing platforms after five days of “delayed viewing.” Hot Wheels has a 0.81 rating in the demographic of viewers aged 18-49, which is a 141 percent increase. Episodes of Hot Wheels air on NBC right after the new and emotional season of America’s Got Talent, and after a powerful first episode, it’s made a name for itself in the entertainment realm right out of the gate.

Deadline also reports that Hot Wheels is now the “all-time top NBC alternative series launch on Peacock,” which is a pretty big achievement, and with good reason. We all grew up with Hot Wheels. In fact — since 1968, they’ve been a staple of childhood fun and a collector’s hobby. Everything from DC and Marvel-inspired miniatures and Disney classics to the car you grew up riding around in with your grandparents exists in the realm of the diecast vehicles, and they’re as exciting to collect as they are sentimental.

Some of the guest stars on Hot Wheels include Terry Crews, Joel McHale, and Sung Kang — to name a few, and there’s something in each episode for all fans of toys, cars, and entertainment. Hot Wheels airs new episodes on NBC every Tuesday, and you won’t want to miss a moment of the building action.
