Jersey Shore’s Pauly D, Snooki And JWOWW To Get Spinoff Shows

Ok, now it's really the end of the world. Deadline is reporting that MTV has greenlit two new shows, one starring Snooki and JWOWW and the other one starring Pauly D. In the spinoff shows, we'll see the lives of these individuals when they're not involved in their usual Jersey Shore antics. MTV is likely going ahead with these shows to please the cast since Snooki, JWOWW and Pauly are three of the people that are currently causing issues with season 4. They're holding out for better contracts apparently and due to this, season 4 is delayed. The shows are set to go into production later this year and will aim for a 2012 premiere. Check out the descriptions below.

Ok, now it’s really the end of the world. Deadline is reporting that MTV has greenlit two new shows, one starring Snooki and JWOWW and the other one starring Pauly D. In the spinoff shows, we’ll see the lives of these individuals when they’re not involved in their usual Jersey Shore antics. MTV is likely going ahead with these shows to please the cast since Snooki, JWOWW and Pauly are three of the people that are currently causing issues with season 4. They’re holding out for better contracts apparently and due to this, season 4 is delayed. The shows are set to go into production later this year and will aim for a 2012 premiere. Check out the descriptions below.

UNTITLED NICOLE “SNOOKI” POLIZZI AND JENNI “JWOWW” FARLEY PROJECT Fans of Jersey Shore watched, laughed and marveled as Snooki and JWoww forged a genuine bond sure to go down in TV history. Always inseparable and ready to get the party started at the shore, viewers will get to see how they deal with life and love when the vacation is over in this 12-episode series. The locale may be different, but the friendship is sure to remain the same.

UNTITLED PAUL “DJ PAULY D” DELVECCHIO  PROJECT Whether it’s Seaside Heights or Miami – no one has more swagger, one-liners or a more distinctive haircut that DJ Pauly D. Set to air for 12-episodes, this series follows Pauly D’s jet-setting and often hilarious life on the road as one of the country’s most in-demand DJs. Aiming to become one of the world’s most successful and recognized names in music, viewers will get to see Pauly D chase his dream with the help of the best friends he grew up with in Rhode Island by his side.

So what do you think? Ready for more madness, shenanigans and pure ridiculousness? I am! Jersey Shore is one of the top watched shows on television right now and has made the people at MTV very happy. I guess it would have been unreasonable to think that the producers wouldn’t try to get some spinoffs going.

The only thing I’m wondering is how long it will take before Deena, Sitch, Ron and Vin get their own spinoffs? It probably won’t be too long. I don’t think the spinoffs will be nearly as entertaining as Jersey Shore but I’ll probably still check them out. I’m more excited for season four though, which is set to take place in Italy. Hopefully they get those contract issues sorted out soon.
