On Her Majesty’s Secret Service Confirmed For 007 Legends

Shaking its way onto the scene back in April, 007 Legends made quite the stir by retiring the 'one-film one-game' nature of the series lineage. The game's mission is to mesh 5 classic bond films, and the upcoming Skyfall, into one original game - and having already announced Moonraker as the first of the movie-inspired missions, Activision have now confirmed that On Her Majesty's Secret Service will be joining it.

Shaking its way onto the scene back in April, 007 Legends made quite the stir by retiring the ‘one-film one-game’ nature of the series lineage. The game’s mission is to mesh 5 classic bond films, and the upcoming Skyfall, into one original game – and having already announced Moonraker as the first of the movie-inspired missions, Activision have now confirmed that On Her Majesty’s Secret Service will be joining it.

Details currently remain somewhat confidential, but the 1969 classic starring George Lanzenby appears to have brought snow to the spy ensemble in the screenshot above (courtesy of IGN). It will be interesting to see how one transitions here from space, or perhaps the missions will be far less seamlessly integrated than initially indicated. Regardless, with genre-defining spy action to select from it is all too easy to get excited about Bond’s latest assignment.

Due to release with the 5 classic missions this fall, with the Skyfall mission to follow in the form of free DLC soon after, 007 Legends is looking like it may manage to live up to its name and its namesake.
