Major Lazer’s Lean On Goes Platinum

With all the buzz surrounding Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s collaboration with MØ, it was only a matter of time before this happened.

After selling one million records in the United States, “Lean On” has officially been awarded platinum status, and sees the trio join fellow electronic artists Daft Punk, Disclosure, and Calvin Harris on the platinum pedestal.

The certified platinum award comes as a logical progression, too, following their stint on the television performance circuit and Shazam declaring “Lean On” to be one of the biggest tracks of Coachella.
