Doomsday prophets are a dime a dozen. Every year it feels like someone comes out of the woodwork and claims that the world is ending. So far that has yet to happen. However, one man on TikTok believes that a second great flood is coming and he’s trying to warn the rest of us. In fact, he’s so convinced of the coming flood that he’s started building his very own ark.
The man, whose name is Ebo Jesus, although he also goes by the name Ebo Noah, claimed to have received a divine vision from God. In his vision he saw three years of non-stop rain beginning on December 25, 2025. Some would argue that this is basically a doomsday cult but it seems the man might truly believe what he’s preaching.
In preparation for the apparent flood, Ebo began working straight away on building several arks just like the story of Noah. Many of the clips on his TikTok account show his progress on the large wooden boats although many are skeptical over whether they will be big enough to weather a three year storm.
Ebo’s arks are also considerably smaller compared to the supposed dimensions of the original. Noah’s ark was said to be around 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet tall according to an article from Mirror.co.uk. Given the size of his boats, it’s unlikely Ebo will be able to fit many animals or people on board.
Could there really be an impending flood?
Whatever the case, Ebo has invested the manpower and the hours into creating these boats, so clearly his vision must have been pretty convincing for him to commit in such a way. So should we be worried? Does he know something that we don’t?
There aren’t currently any weather forecasts that indicate a massive downpour in the coming weeks like Ebo suggests so we can probably assume we’re in the clear. Of course, many have also pointed out in the comments underneath the TikTok videos, that in the Bible God promised to never flood the earth again. Many commenters also criticized Ebo for wasting money that could have been used to help the needy.
It also goes without saying that nobody has ever accurately predicted a doomsday event. Out of every cataclysmic prediction we’ve seen in the past literally none of them have been right, otherwise we wouldn’t be here. There have been some pretty convincing doomsday prophecies in the past such as the Mayan calendar, but that was also wrong, there’s no reason to think Ebo Noah’s prediction is any different, no matter how convinced he is he’s right.
