As we begin the get back into the swing of things for the gaming world, more details are surfacing for some of the big releases coming out within the next few months. Today, we’ve got eyes-on the Collector’s Edition for Ninja Gaiden 3, as well as a new multiplayer trailer showing off probably one of the most hectic multiplayer games I’ve ever seen.

The Collector’s Edition sure is pretty. Although that figure seems odd. I’ve got a Ryu figure sitting on my shelf that’s got a ton of posable points and extra weapons and stuff. I suppose it’s up to you whether or not the GameStop-exclusive figure, art book, soundtrack and Dead or Alive 5 demo are worth the $99.99.

What IS pretty interesting is a new multiplayer trailer released yesterday. A solid minute and a half of gameplay for the multiplayer seems about as hectic as it is for Assassin’s Creed. Ironically, I’m still not entirely convinced that Ninja Gaiden needs multiplayer, but I thought the same of Assassin’s Creed and that worked out pretty well for most people.

See for yourself.

Ninja Gaiden 3 is slated for release on March 20 for Xbox 360 and PS3. A Wii U version is planned whenever the Wii U happens to be released.

What say you, gamers? Think you might dig this multiplayer, or plop the money down for a pair of ninjas to adorn your shelves?
