The pinball wizards at Zen Studios just dropped us a zombie-themed postcard, and preview trailer, announcing that their Plants Vs. Zombies Pinball table will launch next week on PSN and XBLA.

The PopCap-themed table will arrive as DLC for Zen Pinball 2 on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita for $2.99, and on Pinball FX2 on the Xbox 360 for 240 Microsoft Bucks.

Judging from the trailer, the Plants Vs. Zombies Pinball table will have all the familiar elements from the popular tower defense game, only in a totally awesome pinball format!

Speaking as a huge pinball-nut, I’m always excited when Zen Studios releases new DLC for their games. They are hands down the best developers working in the genre, and always produce top-notch and inventive pinball tables.

Check out the Plants Vs. Zombies Pinball preview trailer below, and look for the title to hit the PlayStation Store on September 4th, and XBLA on September 5th.
