Had enough of Dead Island yet? Of course you have! But Techland wants to do better on the post-launch support than developers usually do, and will follow through by releasing a new DLC chunk next week revolving around the mysterious backstory of main antagonist Ryder White.

The DLC campaign, which will hit your preferred digital marketplace of choice next week for $9.99/800 MSP, will take a look at what happened before the events of the main campaign of the game.

Colonel Ryder White is sent into Banoi to investigate reports of the zombie infection. He gets more than he bargained for when his helicopter crashes, stranding him in the middle of the legions of the undead.
