Saints Row: The Third Gets Crazier With Pre-Order Bonus Details

As if the news that Saints Row: The Third will feature a sex toy bat wasn't weird enough, details of the game's pre-order bonus pack contents have surfaced. Lucky for THQ's lawyers, the bonus pack will not include a real-life version of that strange toy. Although the contents don't get that weird, they're still very creative, or zany, if you will.

As if the news that Saints Row: The Third will feature a sex toy bat wasn’t weird enough, details of the game’s pre-order bonus pack contents have surfaced. Lucky for THQ’s lawyers, the bonus pack will not include a real-life version of that strange toy. Although the contents don’t get that weird, they’re still very creative, or zany, if you will.

Now known as Professor Genki’s Super Ethical Reality Climax “Hyper Ordinary Pre-Order Pack” (wow, that’s a mouthful), the pack will include the following strange items:

– Prof. Genki’s Super Ballistic Man-a-pult Truck
– Prof. Genki’s Octopuss Cannon, which fires baby octopi
– Prof. Genki’s Leisure Stunt Suit with Genki Mask

The first 3000 North American gamers who purchase Saints Row: The Third from the THQ Online Store, will receive the “Saints Row Season Pass” free of charge. Valued at more than $20, the pass will grant those folks access to three planned downloadable mission packs. It’s sounding like the idea behind it is very similar to the recent Rockstar Pass for L.A. Noire.

If you’ve been following news about the game, then you’re surely thinking the same thing as I am: it’s sounding crazier with each new announcement. I cannot wait to see what THQ and Volition have up their sleeves for this one, knowing how over the top the previous two entries in the series were. Though, by the sounds of it, the original Saints Row was tame compared to what we’re going to experience when Saints Row: The Third hits store shelves on November 15.
