The Trouble With Clones will soon be coming to Saints Row: The Third. THQ has revealed the achievement list for the game’s third major downloadable content expansion, giving us an idea of what to expect when it launches sometime in the near future. This same tactic was used for the incredibly mature title’s two previous DLC packs, as their available gamertag awards leaked a few weeks before the actual content arrived. Due to this, it shouldn’t be too long before the game receives an update with what is expected to be the final download associated with its pre-paid Season Pass.
As with everything in the hilarious and parody-filled Saints Row universe, The Trouble With Clones‘ achievement list has some comedic content. Two specific point awards, entitled Weird Science and Tour De Farce, parody a major sporting event in addition to yet another popular movie. They’re both mission related, so it’ll be interesting to see what kind of creative mayhem the Third Street Saints will end up getting themselves into during each one’s run time.
From the sounds of things, another activity or game show element could be included as part of this pack. A reference is made to defeating 15 enemies at Technically Legal, using only melee attacks. Since its description doesn’t have the word mission included, that’s the most-likely scenario. That event title also sounds like something you’d reference alongside Snatch, Insurance Fraud, Escort and Professor Genki’s Super Ethical Reality Climax.
This upcoming DLC pack has a listed price of 560 Microsoft Points ($7) on the always helpful Xbox 360 Achievements website. That happens to be the exact same price tag THQ placed upon its last two downloadable additions to the game: Genkibowl VII and Gangstas In Space.
When we find out more about The Trouble With Clones, you can be sure that we’ll pass it onto you. For now, check out the aforementioned achievement list and let us know what you think. I, for one, cannot wait to play through these new missions and that potential new activity.
