As music fans outgrow the EDM festival formula in favor of more carefully curated experiences, Shambhala might just be the strongest alternative. The British Colombia gathering has garnered a reputation for unparalleled vibes in recent years, and its 2016 lineup proves that it’s got next-level talent to boot.
Rather than dump the entire festival’s entertainment roster on fans in one lump sum, Shambhala’s organizers went as far as to release an individual lineup announcement for each stage of the massive. Artists like Troyboi, Ephwurd, Justin Martin, Z-Trip and AlunaGeorge are but a few of the names that jump out from each graphic, promising an experience in which the music is given greater emphasis than the hype.
