Showland Records Marks 50th Release With Corey James’ “Rule The Nation”

A high-energy buildup sets the pace of the track early on with a main stage-friendly synth progression. A bridge between the two drops incorporates more melody into the production, but as a whole, it functions more as a festival banger than anything else.

Even to that end, however, “Rule The Nation” leaves a bit to be desired. The concept and sound design ultimately come across as unfinished, and the vocal sample seems somehow out of place in the greater context of the arrangement.

However, that shouldn’t keep you from listening to Corey James‘ “Rule The Nation” for yourself. Check out Showland Records’ 50th release in the SoundCloud player above, and tell us what you think of the track by commenting below.
