Shaun Frank gained quite a bit of traction as a purveyor of future house in 2015, but news of his upcoming collaborations with two major artists suggest that 2016 might be his true breakout year. The Canadian DJ/producer has revealed that he has tracks in the works with both Steve Aoki and The Chainsmokers.

Frank and his collaborating vocalist, Delaney Jane, recently sat down with We Got This Covered for an exclusive interview. At the end, he revealed the following:

I’ve got a track with The Chainsmokers coming soon. No date yet, but it’s coming. And I have a song with Steve Aoki as well coming in May. Plus I’ve got some solo stuff, too.

While his intelligent and distinct style of future house could certainly compliment The Chainsmokers’ own shimmering sound design qualities, it’s hard to imagine what a Shaun Frank x Aoki track might sound like. Either way, it looks to be quite a festival season for the rising talent.

While no official release dates or other information are available for Shaun Frank‘s collaborations with Steve Aoki or The Chainsmokers, we’ll be the first to let you know once they reveal anything further.
