Skullgirls, the downloadable 2D fighting game developed by Reverge Labs and published by Konami, has officially passed Microsoft‘s certification process. The game now has a confirmed release date of Aprill 11 for Xbox LIVE Arcade, with an asking price of 1200 Microsoft points. While a PlayStation 3 release date has not been completely cemented, Reverge‘s community manager, Peter Bartholow, recently posted on the neoGAF gaming forums, saying that the PlayStation Network release will “very probably be April 10th.”

Skullgirls is a fighter with hand-drawn character graphics akin to classic Capcom games like the original Street Fighter. It will have a roster of 8 female characters, with more planned as downloadable content.
