Normally people run away from avalanche-style snowfall. Though, that's apparently not the case in Need For Speed: The Run. Its latest trailer, straight from the halls of Gamescom in Germany, shows off a brand new environment: a snowy mountain pass in a very chilly part of the United States called Independence Pass.

Its latest trailer, straight from the halls of Gamescom in Germany, shows off a brand new environment: a snowy mountain pass in a very chilly part of the United States called Independence Pass.

Watch as our playable racer flies around dangerous corners, defying accidents at every turn. Then, when you think the road couldn’t even be more dangerous, what looks like an avalanche makes its presence known.

You can see this occur in the trailer below, but it seems like we’ll have to wait until the full game is released to find out what happens next. The good thing is that, by that time, we’ll be able to play it instead of only being able to view it on our computer screens.
