‘That’s from your agency’: Kristi Noem instantly proven wrong live on air… by the department she runs

From a certain perspective, Donald Trump did something right when he tapped Kristi Noem to run the Department of Homeland Security. After all, if you want to ethnically cleanse the United States, you kinda need someone with no morals, no empathy, and who’s so stupid she doesn’t realize she’s being set up as the fall guy.

Those famous Noem smarts were on full display yesterday when she was quizzed on CBS about the ongoing chaos and violence her ICE goons are generating in Minnesota. Noem was also pressed on her insistence that the majority of those that ICE scoops up are criminals, claiming that 70% “have committed or have charges against them on violent crimes.”

For once, Noem was actually called out for speaking nonsense:

BRENNAN: What percentage of those you have in custody have committed a criminal offense?

NOEM: 70% of them have committed or have charges against them on violent crimes

BRENNAN: It's not 70%

NOEM: Yes it is. You guys pick and choose what numbers you think work

It was put to Noem that the Department of Homeland Security’s own figures say that 47% of those detained have criminal convictions, a far cry from 70%! Noem clearly didn’t like having facts and evidence thrown back in her face, muttering “wrong again…”

Talk about throwing stones in glass houses…

But perhaps the most nauseating moment in this came when Noem accused the interviewer of changing the numbers to fit a narrative, saying that the press “pick and choose what numbers you think work, but that is the facts”.

As always with these creeps, every allegation they make is secretly a confession. Frankly, we seriously doubt that anywhere close to even 47% of those snatched by ICE have “committed or have charges against them on violent crimes.”

The reality, based on a study by the Cato Institute, indicates that only 5% of people detained by ICE have violent convictions, and 73% had no convictions at all (and remember that the 27% who do include those with non-violent narcotic possession, immigration, or traffic violation convictions).

Perhaps it’d be more honest if Noem just admitted that ICE’s real mission is to Make America White Again. At this point, everybody with a brain can see that ICE isn’t there to fight crime, they’re there to crack skulls, spread terror, and turn America into a hostile environment for anyone with an accent or a foreign-sounding name.
