‘The devil scares me’: Newly surfaced Jeffrey Epstein video shows convicted sex offender defending himself in bizarre sit-down interview

The delusion on camera is chilling.

A new video interview with Jeffrey Epstein has been released by the US Department of Justice. The extended footage was part of a large document release and had never been seen by the public before. In the video, Epstein talks about his crimes and tries to defend his actions.

According to Unilad, the video shows Epstein sitting down with an interviewer who is not visible on camera. The footage has spread quickly online and brought renewed attention to the case years after his death. During the interview, Epstein discusses his wealth, his views on right and wrong, and claims he made charitable donations.

The interviewer immediately asked Epstein what class of sexual predator he was. Epstein answered “Tier one.” When the interviewer asked if Tier one was “the highest and worst,” Epstein claimed he was “the lowest.” He did admit he was a “criminal” when pushed further.

Epstein tried to downplay his crimes during the interview

Being classified as Tier 1 means prosecutors believe someone has a low risk of committing crimes again, according to NJ Criminal Law Firms. Law enforcement is told about this status. Epstein appeared to be trying to make his classification sound less serious than it was.

The interviewer also questioned Epstein about his massive fortune. They asked him directly: “Is your money dirty money?” Epstein quickly said “No, it’s not.” When asked why, he simply said “Because I earned it.” Recent document releases have revealed new details about Epstein’s connections to high-profile figures.

Epstein tried to make the issue more complicated by saying ethics are “always a complicated subject.” He mentioned money he claimed to have given to help end polio in Pakistan and India. He seemed to use this charity work to justify his behavior.

The interviewer then asked how poor people would feel if they knew aid money came from a convicted sex offender. Epstein gave a cold response: “I would say everyone said, ‘I want the money for my children.'” His answer showed he believed desperate people would accept help regardless of where it came from. Years earlier, warnings about Epstein’s behavior had been raised by those who witnessed his activities.

Near the end, the interview took a darker turn. The interviewer suggested people might accept money from the devil himself to save a child. They then asked Epstein: “Do you think you’re the devil himself?” Epstein first avoided the question, saying he had “a good mirror.” When asked again, he finally said “The devil scares me.” The newly released footage gives rare insight into how Epstein viewed his crimes and his sense of right and wrong.
