A video published by TMZ supposedly showing comedian George Lopez urinating on Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has angered more than a few Trump supporters. There’s just one issue — this video is from five years ago.
The original video shows Lopez standing over Trump’s Walk of Fame star before getting a bottle and pretending to urinate on the star. A version of the video where the bottle has been blurred has managed to fool a fair few people as it’s resurfaced online and upset the MAGA crowd.
We all know that those guys are a bit behind with the times (especially in terms of their morals), but come on. To be this late to the party is just a joke; it’s one thing to be upset about this at the time, but you just look foolish getting upset over something that happened so long ago.

Of course, if you’re a supporter of the ex-president, I understand your rage. Five years of kissing Trump’s star on that grimy stretch of pavement and you’ve just learned that your lips have also been touching George Lopez’s urine — it must be quite the shock. Well, it’s okay because the Blue Beetle actor only pretended to do the business on Trump’s star. With the help of a water bottle, the comedian made it look like he was relieving himself all over the star.
The stunt was originally performed a while ago when Trump was actually relevant. It came after Lopez had been heavily critical of the president during his first year in office; the comedian had heavily criticized Trump’s policies regarding immigration and the treatment of Latinos. The act itself was a message, but now, five years later, Donald and his Hollywood star aren’t even worth the time it would take to unzip your fly and start peeing.
None of that has stopped the wave of angry right-wing nuts who have been angrily tweeting and calling out George Lopez as if he’s actually going to go on Twitter and read criticisms about something he did five years ago.

“George Lopez on camera committing a sexual offense by exposing himself in public? Well there is a list that this action will put you on for life, can’t wait… Unless, theres a double standard and being anti-Trump means you’re above the law?”
Let’s not pretend that someone emptying their bladder all over his name is the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to Trump; he’s perfectly capable of embarrassing himself. His behavior while in office and his incitement of the Jan. 6th riots are enough to prove just how much of a loser he is. His arrest back in April meant that he is now the first president in American history to be charged with a crime. If that’s not the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to a president then I don’t know what is.
This video will probably be forgotten by tomorrow only to resurface again five years from now. None of this really comes as a surprise from the Trump crowd, who have shown time and time again that they lack any sort of self-awareness, intelligence, or humor.
