Donald Trump promises to fix economy and inflation ‘so fast that your head will spin,’ forgetting his four disastrous years as president

During his time in office, he did things that have, in fact, added to the current dismal economic status.

You may not know this, but former President Donald Trump is a man known for over-promising and under-delivering. Mexico still has not paid for a wall on the southern border, and now, everyone’s crazy uncle says he could crush inflation almost instantly.

“The Economy and Inflation are a disaster for our Country. As President, it and everything else will be fixed so fast that your head will spin.”

The one-time United States chief executive posted the above to his Truth Social account earlier today. While there are issues with the economy, the unemployment rate in America is below four percent as of this story’s filing and several other countries are experiencing the same issue. Indeed, the only nations with the lowest inflation right now include South Sudan, China, Oman, Taiwan, and Switzerland. On Twitter, one critic faults him for sending out stimulus money during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This can contribute to inflationary pressure as critics have warned and certainly has over in places like Zimbabwe, too.

Of course, with our current world being extremely polarized, several of the former game show host’s fans are denying his administration had anything to do with present issues affecting the country. He did add trillions to the federal deficit many right-wing individuals have excused and also promised to eliminate it totally during the 2016 race, so it’s best to take this pledge with a grain of salt. After all, he could change his mind, blame it all on some mayor who calls him a name, or even claim it is actually a conspiracy involving a long-dead dictator in an attempt to get him out of office earlier, should he end up being victorious in November 2024.
