Campaign, which boasts a huge track listing of 16 songs with titles like “$” and the more intricate “$$$ (Where),” is inspired by the upcoming presidential election as well as social issues that have been plaguing the nation. “For this s-t to be still happening today bugs me. There is no more slavery and gay people can get married. There shouldn’t be any f–ing racism period,” Ty told HipHopDX.

Along with the new details, Ty Dolla $ign also premiered a new track from the project titled “Zaddy,” which takes a fun, upbeat approach and is a promising look into what we might be able to expect from the rest of Campaign when it drops later next month.

Ty Dolla $ign has been having quite the successful year already, as he’s been a part of Fifth Harmony’s top ten hit “Work From Home,” as well as Lil Wayne’s Sucide Squad soundtrack cut, “Sucker for Pain.” The rapper will also take the stage this Sunday, August 28th at the MTV Video Music Awards with Nick Jonas, as they perform their collaboration, “Bacon.”
