The new “user friendly” PlayStation Store went live in Europe today, and promptly broke for a number of users.

Common user complaints about the updated PlayStation Store include; slow loading, PlayStation Plus members not being recognized, failure to download purchases, and the inability to add funds to the wallet (which is the most shocking of all, because you would think that the one thing Sony would make sure worked 100% was the ability to take your money).

Sony is aware of the errors and promised on their Twitter account that everything “will be fixed in the next couple of hours”.

Hopefully SCEA will take a few notes from the European launch of the updated PlayStation Store and make the necessary corrections prior to its North American launch on October 23rd.
