After announcing both deadmau5 and Hardwell as headliners, Toronto’s VELD Music Festival has begun to reveal the rest of its lineup over the past couple of days. Taking place on August 1st/2nd at Downsview Park, the festival’s fourth outing will boast the following artists:

- Oliver Heldens
- A$AP Rocky
- Hot Since 82
- Borgore
- Laidback Luke
- Markus Schulz
- Gorgon City (Live)
- Nicky Romero
- SNBRN
- The Chainsmokers
- Kill The Noise
- Carnage
- Pretty Lights
While the lineup is by no means complete, it is nice to see that the festival is going for a bit more diversity this year, after being criticized in previous outings for being too mainstream. So far, I think they’ve struck a nice balance between genres and if they continue down this path, there should be a little something for everyone at this year’s fest.
