Disney is rolling out a tie-in for its upcoming video game-themed animated film, Wreck-It Ralph, in an interesting way – by inserting the title character into an upcoming game.

It was recently announced that Wreck-It Ralph will be appearing as a playable character in SEGA and Sumo Digital‘s upcoming kart racer, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. He will join such characters as Sonic the Hedgehog, Nights, and real-life racer Danica Patrick in the sequel to 2010’s Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, which boasts numerous new characters, SEGA-themed tracks, and vehicles with the capability to transform for travel across land, water, and air.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is currently slated for a November 20 release in North America for the PS3, Xbox 360, 3DS, and Vita on November 20, with versions on the Wii U and PC to follow.

We will keep you updated as more details on this promising racer come out.
