Achievement whores, rejoice! Your imaginary numbers may finally mean something in the real world. While there haven’t been any concrete details, Xbox LIVE Rewards let out the following tweet earlier today.

We’ve hit 50,000 followers, which means it’s time for an announcement! Coming Fall: a new way to earn Rewards based on your Achievements!

I’m not sure what to really expect out of this program quite yet. Ideally, it would be possible for Achievement-based rewards to revolve around free MS points or even subscriptions to Xbox Live, however without it being explicitly stated, we have nothing to really go off of. It stands to logic that since Achievements already unlock avatar items for certain games, Microsoft must have something different in mind.
