Federal law enforcement agents confront demonstrators protesting outside of an immigration processing center on September 26, 2025 in Broadview, Illinois. The demonstrators, protesting a recent surge in ICE activity in the Chicago area, were pushed back from the facility with a barrage of "less lethal" munitions including stinger ball grenades, pepper balls, tear gas and baton rounds. ‘You have federal immunity’: Trump admin underlines ICE agents now above law, can do whatever they like to citizens

DHS confirms ICE has a license to kill without consequence.

ICE is now officially above the law, with the Trump administration and Homeland Security confirming that its agents have absolute “federal immunity” for any crimes they commit. The edict was handed down late last night on social media, with the official DHS account confirming:

“To all ICE officers: You have federal immunity in the conduct of your duties. Anybody who lays a hand on you or tries to stop you or tries to obstruct you is committing a felony.”

This means that while they’re in uniform, they can do whatever they want to you without any fear of consequence or reprisal. As shown by the murder of Renee Good, this extends to executing you in the street.

As if to underline that none of this is an exaggeration, they continued:

“You have immunity to perform your duties, and no one—no city official, no state official, no illegal alien, no leftist agitator or domestic insurrectionist—can prevent you from fulfilling your legal obligations and duties. The Department of Justice has made clear that if officials cross that line into obstruction, into criminal conspiracy against the United States or against ICE officers, then they will face justice.”

A police state

So there you have it, an official confirmation that “no one” is permitted to obstruct an ICE officer and that anyone who does – up to and including state and city officials – will face felony charges if they do so.

It’s especially worrying that they consider that “criminal conspiracy against the United States”, which at least theoretically could mean up to twenty years in prison, or at a push even the death penalty. Though, frankly, given that ICE agents are apparently now allowed to execute anyone opposing them in the streets, the death penalty for blocking them is already here.

All this sounds like something you’d hear from a chaotic third-world country, something that’d make the world sit up and conclude that something had gone very wrong there. Well, the nightmare is here for the United States. You’ve been reading about it on the news. Many of you are already seeing it on your streets. Tomorrow, they’ll be smashing through your front door.
