A clever cartoon illustrates why Donald Trump’s indictment is actually a win for the former president

So much winning!

The internet is going crazy over the indictment of Donald Trump, the first U.S. president to ever catch charges after leaving office. This is the best day for Democrats, who have been waiting a long time to see it happen, but a particular tweet shows that it may not have any effect on DJT’s ability to run in 2024.

A disgruntled-looking Donald Trump in cartoon form with his tie so long that it touches the ground, his suit so big his hands barely make it past the cuff, and his hair styled flat with feathers in the back, he holds a ribbon that reads, “1st president to be indicted” while in a dialogue cloud are the words, “So much winning.”

Of course, it captures his persona perfectly, because it’s just like him to say that it’s the greatest cartoon that has ever existed. He has seen plenty of cartoons, and that’s the best one, hands down.

This isn’t the first time America has seen this cartoon. In fact, it’s the same one that Rick McKee published in 2021, only the ribbon read, “1st president to be impeached twice.” With a little photo editing, the cartoon now reflects the current times, marking yet another accomplishment that no president should ever have as a goal — but Trump has managed both.

His fans are pretty diehard so at this point, the indictment isn’t going to keep them from voting for him. However, what happens from here makes all the difference in the world as to whether or not he’ll even be able to run again.
