AOC says what everyone is thinking – Trump’s impulsive Iran strikes are all meant to distract us from the Epstein files

He is ready to plunge the US into a world war to save his neck?

Donald Trump is desperate to bury the Epstein files but could he really be desperate enough to start a war just to distract the public from them? Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez certainly thinks it’s possible.

When asked about her opinion on the theory that Trump was using the conflict in Iran to deflect attention away from the files, the Democratic Representative for New York’s 14th congressional district pointed out some interesting patterns. “He impulsively went in on Venezuela. He impulsively went in on Iran,” she pointed out, going on to add, “every time he’s done that, it has been consistent with a spike or a revelation in what is happening with the Epstein files.”

It’s also quite apparent that the president has next to no plan on what to do in Iran, just like he had no plan when going into Venezuela, something which AOC also points out. So why would Trump impulsively make the decision to invade these countries? Could it really be as simple and selfish as him trying to create a big enough distraction to draw conversation away from the Epstein files? AOC certainly isn’t ruling it out.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thinks it’s time to remove Trump from office

We can’t know for certain what prompted Trump to begin strikes on Iran. In a statement released last week, Trump claimed that the military campaign was necessary to prevent the “wicked, radical dictatorship from threatening America and our core national security interests.” He also claimed that there would have been a nuclear war if America hadn’t struck first, however, not many are convinced that attacks on the country were completely necessary.

The truth is, the timing of these strikes is awfully convenient. Chatter regarding the 3 million unreleased documents was already pretty strong, especially after the DoJ announced that it would not be releasing the rest of the files despite being legally obligated to. AOC thinks it is much more than a coincidence though.

In fact, she claims that it is a good reason to have Donald Trump removed from office. The apparent hold the files have over him means he “cannot make objective decisions for the American people.” What’s more, if the Epstein files truly are the reason for the U.S. involvement in the Middle East then that’s all the more reason to be opposed to American strikes on Iran, something which a large majority are already opposed to.

Trump has lost a lot of confidence from even his most loyal supporters with many disappointed with the handling of the Epstein files along with being outright against the military operations in Iran. AOC was right when she claimed he should be removed from office, it seems he’s incapable of doing what’s best for the American people.
