Evangelical Christians’ support of Donald Trump puts them among the worst hypocrites humanity has ever seen. That they would put into power a man who violates each of the seven deadly sins every day, who has probably broken most of the Ten Commandments, and who clearly and patently doesn’t believe in God, is kind of insane.
Do these people really believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ, or are they just cosplaying religion?
Anyway, maybe saying Trump doesn’t believe in God is going too far. Trump, deep down, believes he is God, the center of the universe, and the fulcrum around which reality bends. Now, to support his claim to be the equal of (or… maybe… superior to?) God, he’s posted an image in which he positions himself as Christ:
The AI-generated image has not only raised eyebrows for featuring Trump, but also because it has added what appears to be a winged and horned demon above his head. Seems uh, kinda super turbo satanic! Straight-up heresy!JUST IN: 🇺🇸 President Trump posts image portraying himself as Jesus Christ. pic.twitter.com/utqhVoLgQ8

Some Trump supporters have decided that if the choice is between their president and their god, they'd probably better ditch Trump for the sake of their immortal souls. Over on Truth Social, comments indicate general repulsion and disgust from MAGA.
Sheriffwoody83 said, “Equating yourself to Jesus? You’ll burn in hell." Msamiraghab said: "If you call yourself a Christian and you’re not outraged by this, you really need to re-evaluate your faith."
Other prominent figures have also taken Trump to task on this, including former Trump cheerleader turned fierce critic Marjorie Taylor Greene, who said this is "more than blasphemy. It’s an Antichrist spirit."
"I genuinely believe Trump is currently demon possessed"
Conservative commentator and author Michael Knowles was similarly disgusted:
I assume someone has already told him, but it behooves the President both spiritually and politically to delete the picture, no matter the intent.

Evangelicals are currently scrambling for a justification for why the guy they wholeheartedly support is now mocking their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Their working theory? Trump is, unfortunately, suffering from a mild case of demonic possession. Y'know, just one of those things!
I genuinely believe Trump is currently demon possessed.

"I genuinely believe Trump is currently demon possessed."
It's amusing that evangelicals apparently cannot process the abject humiliation of their helping elect an atheist president who mocks Jesus Christ and is doing the exact opposite of Christ's teachings. Clutching at straws and arguing that this is so out of character for Trump that a demon must currently be at the helm is really desperate stuff. This is totally within character for Trump.
Oh well, as per their own beliefs, God knows what lies in their immortal souls and will decide their fate. Here's hoping that when they rock up at the Pearly Gates, and St Peter looks over their list of sins, the "oopsie" of supporting a man who bears every hallmark of being the Biblical Antichrist is balanced out by them following Christ's teachings on helping refugees, not judging others, and loving their enemies.
Oh, wait, they're not doing any of that stuff either?! Well, they preached about the lake of fire loudly enough, seems like they're going to get to enjoy it firsthand! Hope they packed their asbestos swim trunks!
