A man is detained by federal agents after leaving a court hearing in immigration court at the Jacob K. Javitz Federal Building on August 26, 2025 in New York City. Attorney General Letitia James announced that her office has made a legal filing asking the U.S District Court for the Southern District of New York to block Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from detaining immigrants inside of courthouses as they attend their court hearings at immigration court. ‘Deport them all’: MAGA lunatic launches campaign against Hispanic U.S. citizen neighbor, vows not to stop until ICE takes him away

A peek into the near future.

If you thought MAGA would stop at targeting “illegals” you’re more of an optimist than I am. In Trump’s America, illegal immigrants are merely low-hanging fruit, their first target towards their ultimate goal of making the United States the country of the white man.

As a taste of what’s coming, let’s take a peek over at Grifton, Pitt County, North Carolina. This is the home of Douglas Dietrich, who lives next door to Enrique Galles, proprietor of the auto repair shop Monkeys Garage.

Galles is a U.S. citizen, but Dietrich is campaigning to have him dragged away by ICE, putting up a large sign in his yard reading: “BUILD THE WALL/DEPORT THEM ALL/TRUMP START WITH MY NEIGHBORHOOD FIRST”.

As per NBC, Galles sees this as direct racism aimed squarely at him, saying Dietrich has prejudice  “not just with Hispanic people”, but that under Trump, he feels empowered to target him as “he thinks he can do it to us.” And, in a very level-headed comment, Galles added: There is so much hate already. I don’t hate him. He thinks he’s right. People out there are gonna see what he’s doing is not right.”

Dietrich says the sign is up because he doesn’t approve of illegal immigration, despite Galles being a U.S. citizen. He told NBC that, “Well, it appears that… that the shop has, y’know has came next door to us against our wishes against our wishes with illegal immigrants”. Dietrich has since faced widespread local condemnation and anger, but says, “this has just encouraged me to leave the sign up, maybe even add another sign next to it.”

A taste of things to come

And so it goes. Admittedly, this is one incident involving an extremely unpleasant neighbor who seems to have issues beyond simple bigotry, but it’s an indication of how empowered Trump’s immigration policies have made people openly target Hispanic U.S. citizens.

The US Department of Justice has already opened up a division devoted to the denaturalization of U.S. citizens: removing citizenship either from those who were awarded it after emigration or revoking it from their children who were born here.

So far, they’ve done little on this front, but, frankly, it seems depressingly likely that at some point the government will run out of “illegals” to target and seamlessly move on to anyone with brown skin, whatever their citizenship status.
