Donald Trump tries to say climate change is fake by pointing to dropping temperatures but proves the only thing dropping is his IQ

Extreme weather like this does not disprove climate change Donald.

Donald Trump has always been a climate change denier which makes sense because he’s always been on the wrong side of history. Now Trump thinks the monster winter storm set to cover the U.S. in a blanket of ice is proof that he was right all along when in reality, it proves just how wrong he really is.

The president acknowledged the “record cold wave expected to hit 40 states” on Truth Social. But rather than seeing it as an alarming result of the damage climate change is doing to the environment and our weather, Trump seems to think it’s proof that global warming is a hoax. He asked, “could the environmental insurrectionists please explain – WHATEVER HAPPENED TO GLOBAL WARMING???”

While some of Trump’s supporters will no doubt agree with his statement, most people with an IQ higher than the current temperatures in America can see that this is not the “gotcha” that Trump thinks it is.

Trump isn’t as smart as he thinks he is

Let’s start with the fact that “global warming” is a somewhat outdated term. While the general trend is an increase in temperature across the globe, due to human actions according to the United Nations, the name doesn’t reflect the symptoms that certain areas may experience. Climate change is a more accurate name as the change in the earth’s temperature will see some areas experience more extreme weather both hot and cold.

So just because we’re in for one of the coldest snaps since records began does not mean that climate change isn’t happening. In fact, the extreme weather proves that it is a very real threat with very real effects on the weather system on our planet. We’re seeing the climate stretched to its limit right now, from the coldest storms in winter to the hottest droughts in summer, this isn’t normal and if Trump can’t see that he’s either lying or his brain really is mush.

“The weather is a local snapshot ONLY IN THE USA climate is the global big picture IN THE PLANET” one person on X pointed out. It may be cold in one part of the world today but that doesn’t disprove climate change like Donald Trump clearly thinks it does. “Confusing weather with climate is how serious problems get waved away while they quietly get worse.” agreed another individual.

Trump said it himself, when admitting he’s “rarely seen anything like it before.” This weather is not normal and is proof that decisive action to fight climate change needs to be taken. But like so many, the president would rather bury his head in the sand (or the snow in this case).
