Everyone deals with bereavement differently. Some grieve in isolation and privacy, many seek solace in family and friends, and others just try to forge on as if nothing has happened. Or, in Erika Kirk‘s case, they glam up, spark up the pyrotechnics, and give the crowd a bit of high-energy razzle-dazzle!
But who are we to judge? Grief is a personal thing, and I guess sometimes it comes with gold sequins and fireworks.
We can’t know what’s going on inside Kirk’s head, though it’s safe to say she’s enjoying the spotlight. But widespread attention is a famously double-edged sword, and some disturbing and bizarre accusations have emerged online.
The allegations revolved around interactions Kirk (then Erika Frantzve) had with an X user named Jill Falcón, who was a teenager while Kirk was in her mid-twenties. It’s unclear what Kirk and Falcón’s connection was, but posts dating from that time have been interpreted as ‘grooming’:

More information needed!
It’s worth underlining that we simply don’t know the context of these messages. We can’t even say conclusively that this Erika Frantzve is the same Erika Frantzve who is now Erika Kirk. On top of that, the internet gossip machine has launched into full speed, posting images falsely indicating she’s been in trouble with the law for this:

Perhaps all this is just some crazy coincidence? Maybe this isn’t even Erika Kirk writing these messages. Perhaps this is all just a simple, friendly conversation between an older woman and a teen girl, and the internet is reading way too much into it.
Kirk is yet to respond to any of this, so we can only wait to hear more. And if there is more to be found out there, doubtless the detectives of X will be the ones to find it. The account @hiimjill hasn’t posted since 2014, so it’s unclear where they are now what their take on this.
So all we can do is wait and hope for clarification. For Kirk’s sake, here’s hoping there’s good explanation.
