‘Extremely unkind’: Betrayed Marjorie Taylor Greene says she showed Trump death threats, his response ‘wasn’t very nice’

MTG saddened after man who betrays everyone betrays her.

I wonder if Marjorie Taylor Greene has ever heard of the tale of the scorpion and the frog? In summary, a scorpion wants to cross a river but can’t swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across on its back. The frog hesitates, fearing the scorpion will sting him.

The scorpion points out that wouldn’t make sense, as the frog’s death would mean he’d drown in the river. Convinced by this logic, the frog agrees. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog. As they both begin to sink, the dying frog asks why. The scorpion replies, “I couldn’t help it. It’s in my nature.”

Greene is the frog in this story, and she’s looking up at Donald Trump on her back and wondering miserably why he’s plunged his stinger into her body. She knows Trump better than most, so why is she surprised that he’s turned on her?

In a faintly depressing twist, Greene is utterly blindsided by Trump’s betrayal. In a new interview covering her bombshell split from MAGA and subsequent shock resignation announcement, Greene said she personally sent Trump the death threats she and her family received after he publicly denounced her as Marjorie “Traitor” Greene:

Greene seems to have assumed she’d get some sympathy from Trump. But, c’mon, this is Donald Trump. And so:

“I got a response back from President Trump that I will keep private, but it wasn’t very nice. … It was extremely unkind.”

Who could have possibly seen this coming?

Being brutally shanked by the man you’ve poured yourself into wholeheartedly supporting for years must hurt, but she really should have seen this coming.

Even a cursory examination of Trump’s professional and political life to date will show you that he only cares about one person: Donald Trump. He’ll happily toss friends, colleagues, supporters, heck, even his own family under the bus without a second’s thought. Now, as anyone with half a brain could predict, he’s done it to Greene too.

Loyalty simply isn’t in Trump’s vocabulary. All of which means anyone currently working for him who’s sure that the president will have their back when the chips are down should think again. To him, you’re just another pawn to be sacrificed.
