‘Greenland should be a part of the US’: Stephen Miller confirms Greenland invasion plan, explains world won’t fight back

It's going to happen, so you'd better get used to the idea.

Donald Trump hasn’t been subtle about his ambitions to seize Greenland. He described his plans to gain “ownership and control” of the island “an absolute necessity,” argued that the residents are desperate to “be with us,” and dangled a carrot in front of voters just before their key election that “we will make you rich…”

Well, Greenlanders were smart enough to see through Trump’s lies, as they turned out in droves to deliver a humiliating rebuke to the White House and underline that they absolutely do not want to be a part of the United States.

But the desires of Greenlanders don’t matter much to the Trump administration, who have repeatedly and pointedly underlined that they are 100% serious about invading Greenland. The truly odious Stephen Miller appeared on CNN last night to underline his once again:

Miller didn’t mince words, explaining that “Greenland should be part of the US” and confidently asserting that “nobody is gonna fight the US militarily over the future of Greenland.” So, why does Trump have the right to just take Greenland? Well, because “The US is the power of NATO” or, because America has all the missiles, that’s why.

What happens next

Annoyingly, Miller is entirely correct when he says that nobody’s going to fight America over Greenland. Even if Greenland or Denmark could successfully repel an American invasion they wouldn’t, because opening fire on Americans would in a single shot obliterate the US military protection that Europe relies on to ward away Vladimir Putin.

Here’s what’s going to happen in the near future. Donald Trump will announce that Greenland is now a U.S. territory, and US troops will symbolically raise an American flag in the capital city of Nuuk. Domestic liberal commentators and some RINO conservatives will be horrified, European leaders will issue strongly critical statements, and the UN will be convened for emergency talks.

And… that’s going to be it. The only person who could feasibly put an actual roadblock in Trump’s plan is Putin, and he’s literally said, “it has nothing to do with us“. It’ll dominate headlines for a few weeks, then simply, quietly, gradually become the new status quo as American companies drill, baby drill.
